An incredibly beautiful site, the Palm House highlights 43 species of palms from around the world, some of which are considered endangered and threatened in the wild. The formal, tropical ambiance of this Victorian structure makes it a popular site for weddings and social gatherings. The Statehouse is elegantly built in the Greek Revival style and is situated on 10 acres in the Franklinton area on the west side of the Scioto River. It is an incredible backdrop for photography sessions whether you are walking outside along the stairs and grand columns or inside the gorgeous rotunda. It does require a photography permit and 15-days advance written notice.
