A slow, soulful session held in the comfort of your home or a natural light studio in Columbus. We move entirely at your baby's pace, with ample time for feedings, soothing, and snuggles. As a mother of two and a seasoned professional, I know that the newborn stage is a time of both deep love and deep exhaustion. My goal is to remove the "mental load" from your shoulders.

Curated Styling: I provide a selection of high-end blankets, swaddles, and wardrobe guidance for the entire family to ensure a cohesive, timeless aesthetic.
A Calm Environment: Whether in-home or in-studio, I create a space where you can truly relax while I work.
Artistry with Intention: Once your session is complete, I don’t just send a link of files. I guide you through the curation of custom wall art and heirloom albums—tangible pieces of history that your child will one day flip through, seeing exactly how deeply they were loved from the very start.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN SESSION?

My schedule books up very quickly. I recommend scheduling your session as soon as possible, with a session date falling between 7-10 days of your due date. We will adjust accordingly. All newborn sessions must be photographed no later than 14 days when babies are sleepiest and most comfortable being posed.

For Fresh 48 sessions, I'm available within 48 hours of your baby's arrival—just text me when baby arrives and we'll coordinate timing.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO INVEST IN NEWBORN PORTRAITS?

The reveal of your portraits is one of my favorite parts of working wit you. This is when you'll decide how to preserve this chapter, whether that's framed wall art for the nursery, gifts for grandparents, heirloom albums, or a combination.

My most popular maternity collections include both finished artwork and digitals, with investment starting at $1350.

DO YOU OFFER NEWBORN OR LIFESTYLE PHOTOS IN THE HOME?

Absolutely! During your planning call, we will talk this through and ensure your home is the right location for your session.

CAN SIBLINGS AND PARENTS BE INCLUDED?

Absolutely! I love capturing those first family moments together—siblings meeting baby, parents gazing at their newest love. We'll photograph your baby alone and with family, creating a complete story of this special time.

HOW LONG DOES A NEWBORN SESSION LAST?

My newborn sessions are approximately 2-3 hours, but I keep my entire morning open just in case your little one needs a little extra attention. For twins, it may take longer. Just know that I will follow your newborn's lead and never rush our time together.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR A NEWBORN SESSION?

I'll guide you through everything! After booking, you'll receive a planning guide covering what to expect, what to have ready, and how to help your baby be comfortable. I will also schedule a planning call to discuss details like styling your session and preparing your family.

WHAT IF MY BABY IS FUSSY DURING THE SESSION?

This is completely normal and expected! After photographing 5,000+ babies, I've learned to work with newborns' natural rhythms. We'll take breaks for feeding, changing, and soothing as needed. Sessions are unhurried and entirely baby-led—there's no pressure or rushing.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRESH 48 AND A NEWBORN SESSION?

Fresh 48 sessions happen in the hospital within the first 48 hours—they're documentary-style, capturing the rawness and emotion of those first moments. Newborn sessions happen at home or in studio within the first two weeks and include more posed portraits, artistic setups, and the connection to home.

Many families love having both to document the complete story.
